What does luxury silence? This artwork explores the polished facade of fashion media and the unseen labor beneath it. Inspired by the visual language of high-fashion editorials, the image appears sleek and sophisticated—until scanned. A hidden transformation unfolds: the glamour is stripped away, revealing the realities of labor, sweat, and erasure. What we desire is often built upon what we choose not to see.
VAGUE is not a brand. It is a critique in disguise.

This project is a kinetic art and projection mapping installation that captures the environmental consequences of industrialisation. A motorised steel cylinder spins a wire that sweeps across white sand, symbolising the spread of heavy metal contamination.
A projector casts images of pollution from discarded batteries onto the sand. The steel cylinder represents modern civilisation, while the wire and sand illustrate environmental degradation. This artwork invites viewers to reflect on the pollution generated by human progress and its effects on our planet.

This interactive artwork begins with a tranquil display of particles, creating a vision of nature’s untouched beauty. As viewers draw near, their presence triggers the emergence of dark particles, symbolising the pervasive influence of black carbon and other carbon footprints. This stark revelation conceals the initial beauty, prompting a contemplation of our environmental impact and the obscured truth of our proximity to nature’s fragility.

This abstract video sequence unfolds in four chapters, each a vignette of nature’s complex story. It begins with “Nature’s Serenity,” where particles paint a tranquil picture of untouched landscapes, inviting viewers into a world of peace. As the narrative progresses, “Harmony in Coexistence” emerges, illustrating the symbiotic dance of life. The third chapter, “Echoes of Disruption,” confronts viewers with the stark reality of environmental degradation, as dark particles disrupt the harmony. The final chapter, “Resurgence of Life,” offers a hopeful resolution, depicting nature’s tenacious spirit and its capacity for healing. Together, these chapters form a thought-provoking exploration of the beauty and discomfort found in our relationship with the natural world.
The Galaxy of Matters Requiring Our Genuine Concern

This project is an interactive art piece that portrays essential issues that require our attention, symbolised through various coloured stars (or dots). If the audience does not interact with the button, the galaxy remains compact, hiding the true colours of each star. However, when the audience presses the button, the once-clustered galaxy gradually expands, revealing the distinct colours of each star.
The approximately 2,000 small white stars in the background universe represent the current price of Ethereum. Just as we can observe the galaxy but cannot reach it, it is impossible to grasp the stars (Ethereum) which symbolise the absurdity of monetary desire.
The galaxy represents overlooked societal issues amidst the more prominent matters in contemporary society. The growth of the galaxy with audience interaction signifies that collective attention is needed to bring awareness to these lesser-known social issues.
